All pages are printed on single sided, non-perforated pages. Any medium can be used, I just put a buffer page behind the one I'm working on to catch any bleed through from wet media.I took one star away because it says large print, but a lot of the numbers are really small and difficult to read, also grey numbers would be easier to cover up. On the first page some of the flower petals and the background were the same color.However, overall, I really enjoy coloring in this book and am having a hard time putting it down!In the attached examples, I used sharpies on the first one, ohuhu markers on the second, and gel pens on the third.It has the color key printed on the back of each page, which is really handy, so you don't have to keep flipping to the back. It's the same colours throughout the book, I do wish that would get changed up, but since I use different mediums, the colors come out looking different, anyway.I was given this book free for my honest review. However, I would definitely buy this book!
This book's theme is gardening, flowers and butterflies. The designs range from large areas that are easy to color to smaller and more intricate ones. I really enjoyed coloring this book because I didn't have to spend time thinking about which colors to use. I do wish the numbers were easier to hide by coloring over them, and the "white" areas could have been left unmarked. Only the dark Sharpies I used hid the numbers. I used a backing page to prevent bleed-through. The pages are non-perforated, but the designs end far enough from the binding to allow for easy removal. The paper is white and slightly rough.The book includes two color test pages, a page of coloring tips, and one each of 23 Designs, each printed one side of the page with the reverse being the color key for the next picture. The back cover also includes a 20-color key for all shades needed in the book. They cover a wide variety of colors that are easy to find in most sets. A link to download the designs for printing at home and ten free sample pages from various other color books by Lilt Kids are included as well.I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
I like the coloring book but as has happened with several books from Amazon. There are 15-20 pages of "bonus" free coloring at the back. If I wanted free coloring I would not have purchased color by number. I feel like I am being cheated out of 20 pages of coloring.
This coloring book is very nice. I like that I can read the numbers. I do wish it had a little bit more detail things to color, not really small but some a little more challenging. The bonus pages are great. I wish there was some way to make the bonus pages into a color buy numbers. But the numbers would be to small to read. I wish Lilt Coloring Books Company would make some large print color by numbers books with other prints. Such as houses or sceneries I'm getting burned out on flowers, butterflies and patterns. They may have them I just have not found any. Overall I would recommend this book. I like it.
Nice pictures. Great idea. The only problem is that the numbers are way too small. I bought this for my elderly client and she had so much trouble reading the numbers.... her vision is great but the way...
The pictures are fine, but I thought large print meant I would be able to actually read the numbers. The number sizes are no different than any other coloring book. I have trouble seeing them even with my reading glasses.
I was looking for a color by number coloring book which was not intricate. This has 23 pages to color with an additional 10 bonus pages from other coloring books.
